Call Us ASAP
Bacteria can multiply every 20 minutes, and mold can grow within 24 hours. We can usually get there within 2 hours to categorize water in Houston. If it’s Category 2 or 3, drying should not be done until contaminants have been removed to prevent cross-contaminating the home with bacteria, mold, or viruses. If the water has dried up, we can still determine the category.

Sampling (Biological Testing)
Once hired, we begin sampling the water damaged areas (even if dried) for several types of contaminants. We ask you and/or your contractor a list of questions, and we investigate the water damage. Your contractor will do the drying, cleaning, and demo if necessary. We’re solely there to identify the Category of Water according to industry standards and research.

Report
As soon as 12 hours later, you’ll receive a detailed report determining the Category of Water. The test results, photos, and interview documentation will be included, as well as bonus information about relevant industry standards, research, and tips to help you restore your home while maintaining indoor air quality.
